How do I recycle or return equipment I received from Hinge Health?

Equipment you've received from Hinge Health is yours to keep. You are not required to return equipment if you decide to take a break from or lose access to your Hinge Health program. You won't be billed or charged if you choose to keep your equipment.

We cannot accept equipment returns. You are welcome to keep, recycle, or discard any equipment you've received from us. Some types of equipment, including Enso and motion sensors, will stop working when you discontinue or lose access to your Hinge Health program.

We will contact you directly if we ever do need to take back your equipment.

Recycling motion sensors

With motion insights, a new Hinge Health app feature, you can get instant movement feedback during exercise therapy — no sensors required. Motion sensors will no longer track exercise movements for members who have been upgraded to the new motion insights experience.

Recycling Enso

Enso is available exclusively through Hinge Health. Enso devices will only work with the Hinge Health mobile app. Our terms and conditions prohibit the resale and gifting of Enso products.

You may discard Enso gel pads without any special handling. You may recycle your Enso device at your local Staples location and receive an in-store coupon. For more information, visit: https://www.staples.com/stores/recycling.

Recycling tablets

You can recycle tablets you've received from Hinge Health anywhere e-waste is accepted. To ensure your personal information is kept safe, we recommend signing out of the Hinge Health app and any other apps or sites (like Google Chrome browser) that you may have used from the device. Follow these steps to sign out of the Hinge Health app:

Open the app
On the Home screen, tap on the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner
Scroll down and tap on "Sign out"
Tap the green "Sign out" button to complete the process
